What it does
This skill analyzes text to systematically assess the societal impacts of technologies using Marshall McLuhan's Tetrad of Media Effects framework. It examines what a technology enhances, makes obsolete, retrieves from the past, and reverses when pushed to extremes, revealing potential consequences for strategic decision-making. The analysis considers various domains (economic, social, political, educational, healthcare, environmental) and stakeholder groups across different time horizons.
